Vermont Day School

Vermont Day School is an independent school offering exceptional education to pre-K through eighth-grade students in Shelburne, Vermont. In September 2020, TruexCullins completed a 7,000 square foot addition to accommodate the school’s growing community and 21st century learning opportunities.

The new building, which doubled the size of the school, includes an innovative STEM lab for all students, three middle school classrooms, a community gathering space, and new administrative offices. The simple design of the building, its abundant light, and flexible seating are highly conducive to the project-based learning approach that allows students to think creatively, develop problem-solving skills, and thrive collaboratively.
