Construction is Underway at the White Mountain Hotel
We are pleased to share this construction update from our latest project in North Conway, NH. The beloved White Mountain Hotel is currently undergoing a major renovation of the lobby, restaurant, and tavern. This phase will bring the master vision to completion.
TruexCullins first began working with the owners, the Sullivan Family, in 2017 on a multi-phase renovation to restore the property. Earlier work included guestroom renovations as well as new carpeting, wall treatments, and lighting in the corridors.
During this final phase, upgrades to the lobby, Ledges Restaurant, and Tullamore Tavern breathe fresh life into the resort while honoring its legacy and traditions which have kept guests coming back since the family opened the property to guests in 1990.
Pictured below is a rendering of the new Tullamore Tavern. The design features a coffered wood ceiling with statement lights creating a focal point for the room. New table seating and banquettes surround the space. A double-sided fireplace and custom bookshelves separate the tavern from the dining room.
The Ledges Restaurant dining room occupies a semi-circular space, with 180-degree views of the White Mountains. The raised floor area here is being expanded toward the windows which will give more guests a better view of the mountains from their tables.
The hotel remains fully open during construction, with a temporary dining room serving breakfast, brunch, and dinner. Construction of the new dining room, tavern, and lobby is on schedule to be complete by the 2024 summer season.
The hotel’s General Manager hosts a guided tour of the construction every Friday on Facebook Live, follow the page to watch the project as it progresses!
