Omni Mount Washington Dining

Bretton Woods, NH

The Omni Mt Washington Hotel is one of the grand resorts of New England, constructed in 1902 and recognized as a National Historic Landmark. The renovation of the Main Dining and Fine Dining rooms breathes new life into these historic spaces.

The Main Dining room is the central hub of the hotel. The strong octagonal geometry is celebrated as the organizing form, defining a variety of experiences and moods within the space. A new four-sided cocktail bar occupies the center of the space, surrounded by concentric zones of seating. Even with a capacity of over 300, the Main Dining Room never feels empty or overcrowded. The fresh and site-specific design is extremely versatile, comfortably supporting both socially distanced and intimate groups.

The adjacent Sun Dining Room is a classically detailed space that asserts its own identity, offering a new sense of luxury and a place of distinction for celebrated moments. The space is distinguished by elaborately detailed plaster moldings, capitals and cornices, all carefully restored to their former glory. New furnishings, lighting and casework provides an anchor to the room, balancing the intricate detailing above.
