Twiggs at Twin Farms

Twiggs is a reimagined dining experience, nestled within the world-renowned Vermont resort, Twin Farms. While honoring founder Thurston Twigg-Smith’s legacy of outdoor rustic-luxe, Twiggs is ushering in a new era of dining with its contemporary comfort and style.

The interior of Twiggs is completely new, a versatile and fluid space that embodies the true Farm experience where guests create their own journey. Guests can choose to sit under the new outdoor pergola, at the bar under a custom designed canopy with views of the pond, or closer to the fire for a more intimate experience.

The concept is focused on crafting delightful and engaging experiences for guests, seamlessly interwoven with the splendors of nature. The intervention builds upon the rich legacy of the farm, marrying the rustic-luxe outdoor experiences with premier accommodations. Drawing inspiration from the traditional New England farmhouse vernacular, the design blends traditional forms with an elegant and rejuvenated look, offering an understated yet luxurious experience.

Harmony with context and sustainable design were integral parts of the design process inside and out. The building sits naturally within the landscape with a focus on unobstructed views to connect guests with the resort’s secluded, natural surroundings. A new courtyard and entry featuring an operable glass wall blur the line between indoor and outdoor spaces.
