Middlebury Union High School Kitchen & Servery

The upgrades to the kitchen and servery at Middlebury Union High School create a fresh, efficient, and elevated dining experience for students and staff. The concept design included reconfiguring the space away from the classic institutional lunch line service, providing the community access to a greater variety of locally sourced food options and multiple hot and cold stations for breakfast and lunch. The new space offers a more sophisticated feel, similar to the experience on a college campus, with comfortable lighting and seating.

The project’s main components include a fully renovated kitchen and servery, including new equipment and infrastructure, HVAC, and plumbing, as well as renovated finishes, casework, and lighting. New, locally made tables occupy a light-filled seating zone under a large skylight.
