Mount Abraham Union Middle/High School
Bristol, Vermont

TruexCullins is supporting the Central Vermont Career Center (CVCC) in its multi-year effort to expand access to career and technical education for students across six school districts and 18 towns. Currently housed in a wing of Spaulding High School in Barre, CVCC is forced to turn away 200-plus students annually due to limited space and outdated facilities.
In 2019, CVCC launched a planning initiative to envision a modern, purpose-built campus that meets regional demand and aligns with evolving workforce needs. Our team led early stakeholder engagement and budget development, and in 2024, completed a comprehensive site selection process and concept design study. The proposed facility will provide industry-standard training labs, workshops, and flexible classrooms to support hands-on learning in high-demand fields, including healthcare, construction, IT, trades, and manufacturing.
This project is about more than architecture – it’s about creating environments where students thrive, communities grow, and Vermont’s workforce is strengthened for generations to come.
The project continues to advance, with recent efforts focused on communications and outreach around the bond vote on November 4, 2025.
