The original farmhouse at Aerie Point was transported from its roadside location and reconfigured into two lakeside guest houses. Each cottage maintains elements of its original Greek Revival construction, such as the pillared side porch, off-centered entry, sidelights and symmetrical windows.
The thread that connects these guest cottages to the main house and pool house is the meticulous character of the new landscape elements featuring stone walls, bridges, ponds, plantings and other connective constructs.
