Qualified candidates should hold a Bachelor or Master’s degree and be NCIDQ certificated or on the certification path. Candidates should be creative and highly motivated; accomplished communicators, comfortable meeting with clients, builders, and consultants; and strong designers, offering innovative design solutions and details for all project phases. Shadowing sessions typically last a few hours, depending on the needs of the student, and offer a brief look at what it’s like to work in an architecture and interior design firm.
