TruexCullins is seeking a Project Manager with experience in the design of architecture and interiors projects. This position will offer exposure to a variety of project types, with specific opportunities in the design of high profile hospitality and resort projects.  Candidates should be effective at managing a team, estimating staffing requirements, and working within project budgets.

Ideal candidates should possess the following qualifications:

  • 5-10 years of experience
  • Bachelor or Masters degree from an accredited institution.  Architectural degree preferred.
  • Proficiency in Revit is required
  • Ability to efficiently and effectively manage priorities on multiple projects either independently or as part of a team
  • Excellent written, verbal, listening and presentation skills to effectively communicate and collaborate with your teams, clients and consultants
  • Experience working in all phases of drawing documentation

TruexCullins is seeking a licensed architect with 8 to 15 years of experience with a passion for US and International K-12 education projects, from master planning and complex renovation projects to design and construction. Knowledge of Revit, and willingness to travel is a plus. This is a leadership position with growth potential. The ideal candidate will have experience in the K-12 market and will be knowledgeable about (or committed to learning) 21st century learning concepts, building science and sustainable design.

Tasks includes working with the K-12 Studio leader to:

  • Create master plans for international school campuses around the globe
  • Develop district-wide master plans in Vermont to increase utilization of existing facilities
  • Lead interactive Visioning Workshops
  • Work with stakeholder groups to develop space programming data
  • Develop conceptual designs and budgets
  • Present design proposals at school board meetings and public forums
  • Lead in-house design teams on large school renovation and addition projects
  • Coordinate with consultants
  • Conduct code reviews
  • Create schedules and track fees

TruexCullins offers shadowing opportunities to area high school students who are interested in design careers. Shadowing sessions typically last a few hours, depending on the needs of the student, and offer a brief look at what it’s like to work in an architecture and interior design firm.
