TruexCullins Recognized As Top Interior Design Firm in New England
Founded in Los Angeles, California in 1984, the NEWH is a nonprofit dedicated to fostering and celebrating leaders in hospitality design. The organization has grown significantly in recent years and is now the premier networking resource for the hospitality industry, with 18 Chapters and over 4,500 members worldwide. The New England region presented the award to TruexCullins’ Emily Gold and Pam Picker on Tuesday, December 3, 2013 at the Fairmount Copley Plaza in Boston, MA.
“TruexCullins was selected from many talented design firms because of their expertise, leadership and ongoing support of our NEWH regional group.” stated Kevin Hancock, Chairman of NEWH New England Region. “They have set the bar for quality, vision and creativity in the hospitality design industry.”
TruexCullins Interiors is led by Principal Kim Deetjen, ASID. Deetjen has over 25 years of experience in commercial and residential interior design, with a focus on hospitality design. Projects recently completed by her and her team include: Casa Madrona Hotel & Spa, Sausalito, California; West Street Hotel, Bar Harbor, Maine; Topnotch Resort & Spa, Stowe, VT; and Hotel Vermont interiors, Burlington which was included in the Top 10 Hot New Hotels for 2013 by TripAdvisor.
