TruexCullins to Design Burlington’s Newest Seafood Restaurant

by TruexCullins, August 16, 2013

As reported this week in Seven Days, TruexCullins is once again working with local hoteliers Jay Canning and Chuck DesLauriers on a new restaurant to open within the Marriott Courtyard Burlington Harbor Hotel.  Fresh off the success of the new Juniper Bar and Restaurant at Hotel Vermont, Kim Deetjen and the TruexCullins Interiors team is now helping the same ownership group with the design of their latest endeavor, Burlington’s newest upscale seafood restaurant.

Located on the corner of Battery and Cherry Streets, the new restaurant is just steps away from the Burlington waterfront.  The current eatery, Park Cafe, will be completely renovated and rebranded to focus on fresh, local seafood.

The design concepts are already forming for the new space, but what we don’t have yet is a name.  The owners have announced that they are soliciting ideas for a new name for the restaurant and they have invited the community to participate in a little friendly competition. If you think you have a good idea for a name for this new restaurant, email it to jason.nocie@marriott.com before September 30
