Tour the new CCTA Downtown Transportation Center

The Vermont chapter of the Construction Specifications Institute (CSI) is hosting a construction tour of the new CCTA Downtown Transit Center next Tuesday,  April 5, 2016.

The Downtown Transit Center will provide a new home and identity for the main hub of the public transit system of Burlington, Vermont.  CCTA currently serves nearly 500,000 local community and regional commuters, and this new bus station will improve safety in the downtown, and convenience for commuters.

When completed in the fall of 2016, the new station will feature an indoor waiting area, a new ticket booth, restrooms, and a pavilion roof which will cover 10 new bus berths on a centrally loaded bus platform. TruexCullins is the Architect and the General Contractor is PC construction.
