Remembering the Creative Life of Dennis Glassford

One of our greatest pleasures as designers is having the opportunity to collaborate with the skilled and creative artists and craftspeople of our region. And no one has been more gracious and supportive than Dennis and Candice Glassford of Beaver Meadow Handwoven Products.

Dennis and Candice founded Beaver Meadow and built it into a thriving business, with several large looms on their property in Marshfield, Vermont. Together, they created beautiful handmade rugs, throws, runners and other home accessories with incredible skill and precision.

For the past 20 years, the TruexCullins Interiors studio cultivated a special relationship with Dennis and Candice. Our team drew inspiration from their stunning handwoven creations and incorporated their work in a wide range of projects including Colleges and Universities, hotels, and homes. As designers, Dennis and Candice were always intrigued and ready for the next challenge. Together, they shared a combined enthusiasm and passion for their craft that was an inspiration for all of us.

Sadly, Dennis Glassford passed away recently, bringing an end to a remarkable life and career. Our thoughts and prayers are with Candice and the Beaver Meadow family during this difficult time. Candice has decided to retire the looms, but we take solace in the knowledge that their beauty and artistry will live on in homes, hotels and institutions throughout Vermont for years to come.
