Get Your Copy of Digital Crayon, Now in Print

by David Epstein, September 20, 2016

We are pleased to announce the publication of Digital Crayon: Essays on School Design.  This 63-page book is a compilation of the Digital Crayon blog posts on school design that I started in 2012.

The original blog content has been updated and expanded to reflect the latest thinking and technologies in school design today. The book includes essays on a wide range of topics, from school security and technology to 21st century learning. Each chapter will help identify the questions that you should ask your design and construction team when you embark on a facility planning or design project.  This is valuable reading for school directors, superintendents, principals and facility directors.

We’ve also added a new section on the Whole Child Framework. This is a conceptual approach to school design we’ve developed that addresses wellness, learning and engagement.  These three elements align to support the whole child in body, mind, and spirit.

To celebrate the printing of the book, we are giving away a free copy to the first 10 readers.  To get your free copy, send me an email at depstein@truexcullins.com.

With this book, we are excited to share the insights we have gained from working with schools in Vermont and around the world.  Let us know if you would like a copy, and as always, we welcome your feedback!
