David Epstein to be Lead Presenter at School Facility Management Conference in Bangkok, Thailand

Managing Principal David Epstein, AIA, LEED AP, of TruexCullins will be a lead presenter at the 2014 International School Facility Management Conference in Bangkok, Thailand, August 30 – 31.

David will be presenting “The ABC’s of Preconstruction Planning”, and will share his experience on how best to build a project team and process that creates a successful facility project. He will also speak on “Sustainability in Schools” in which he will be discussing the integration of sustainable design concepts into a school project utilizing the LEED Green Building Rating systems.

TruexCullins designs K-12 schools both in the US and overseas. Epstein’s most recent Vermont project in East Montpelier is nearing completion. TruexCullins has provided design and master planning to numerous schools throughout the state including: Brattleboro Middle and High School, Green Mountain Union High School, Hinesburg Community School, Mount Anthony Union Middle School, Robinson Elementary School, Richmond Elementary School and Middlebury Union Middle School.

Outside of Vermont TruexCullins is providing master planning and architectural design services for the American School of Antananarivo (ASA) in Madagascar, an American international school with students in grades K – 12.  In the US, TruexCullins has been hired by Leman Manhattan Preparatory School, a boarding school located in New York City. Last year the Anglo American School of Sofia, Bulgaria was awarded LEED® Gold Certification and Bulgarian Building of the Year first place for Education and second place for Green building design.
